Political Science Department
The department functions to create an awareness among students about the society and various rights and liberties that they enjoy. It also helps to transforming them into future citizens with moral commitment. The department also conducts technology enabled classes which encourages the Students to participate in seminars and presentations. The department has the best practices such as daily newspaper analysis, debate on current affairs and burning political issues
Associations and Activities
Under the Association ‘PrajaDwani’, the department conducts various student centric activities like Surveys and projects related to local governments, organizing guest lectures, alumni interaction, observation of national festivals and international Days.
Students are also encouraged and trained to participate in Inter collegiate competitions like Mock Parliament, street plays, debates, elocutions and quiz
The Department has initiated Sadhana, a Civil Service guidance forum, to quench the thirst of aspirants of civil service examinations.
